The Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative is an organization of 20+ small, local farms working together to bring you fresh produce. Farmers run the show! Our member farms initiated and built the co-op so that they could spend less time on logistics and more time growing your food. In exchange, you get more diversity while supporting the whole local foodshed, not just one farm. Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative

Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative is seeking a dependable, hardworking and committed individual to join our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) team for 2018. This part-time position(s) (10-20hrs/wk through early Winter 2018) will work directly with the general manager in support of our nonprofit farmers’ cooperative to grow our CSA Veggie Box Program.

The ideal candidate(s) will be interested in farm CSA’s, value organic food production, willing to learn and work hard as part of a team, able to lift heavy boxes repeatedly, attention for detail, have a clean driving record, and be able to drive a van and delivery veggie boxes throughout the greater Seattle area each week

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Veggie Box Production: assist with weekly veggie box preparation (including ensuring food safety and quality control measures); Farm Pick-up (e.g., weekly vegetable pick-ups from member farms) with delivery van; Production (e.g, veggie box production, labeling, storage and van loading); Delivery (e.g., load/unload, veggie box delivery, site coordination and communications); Quality Control (e.g., ensure all boxes are carefully loaded, delivered with highest quality contents).

Hours: 10-20 hours/week

Rate of Pay: $12-$14/hr

Anticipated Start Date: Approx. June 18, 2018
